I’m proud to have deep roots in Seattle and a family legacy closely tied to the Pacific Northwest. My dad, Bill “Baker Bill” Schumacher, owned Schumacher’s Bakery, a beloved Seattle institution, and was a national champion water skier who helped shape Seattle’s early hydroplane and water-skiing community. My half brother, Billy “Billy the Kid” Schumacher, was also a well-known figure in Seattle’s hydroplane racing tradition.

I started life on a houseboat on Lake Union and grew up in Kenmore. I’m a proud University of Washington alumna and a Husky for life. My husband, Erik, and I are grateful parents to our miracle son, Luka, and the Sea Hawkers community supported us in incredible ways throughout our journey to parenthood.

I’ve been a lifelong Seahawks fan and co-founded the Georgia Sea Hawkers after moving to Georgia in 2015. In 2017, I was honored to be named Sea Hawker of the Year, and in 2019, I had the unforgettable opportunity to announce the Seahawks’ draft pick for Cody Barton on stage at the NFL Draft in Nashville.

I’ve served on the Sea Hawkers Executive Board since 2021, and I’m truly honored to serve as President effective January 1, 2026.

I’m a founding Member of the Emerald Isle Sea Hawkers (Ireland), based in Cork,Ireland. I started following the Seahawks in 2006; and started to play as the Seahawks in Madden games, following the text play by play of the real games before the UK and Ireland got tv rights. When I got to my first game, I met a UK Sea Hawker. I subsequently joined their group, where I learned about what being a Sea Hawker is all about. This gave me the foundation I needed to set up the Ireland chapter. I've been to several Seahawks home and away games, including the London and Munich games.
